Throw in another 16 AMA awards, 30 MTV VMAs, 4 Brits – even an Oscar nomination. At the current count, Beyoncé has received 1,340 nominations for awards, and won 723. (I hope she was good enough to leave a trophy or two at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when she played there).
But, despite all of these awards, Beyoncé’s biggest achievement is so much greater – she is a one-woman phenomenon. Part of Destiny’s Child, married to Jay-Z, but that is not what defines her. Her unparalleled talent as a performer and a song writer has made her one of the most influential artists of her generation.

About the Beyonce UK Tour
Before Queen B was known for pushing boundaries, she started in Houston, TX, and was born Beyonce Giselle Knowles. Beyonce partnered with Kelly Rowland in the 1990s and created Destiny’s Child. Their first hit was No, No, No. Beyonce was in Destiny’s Child until 2002 when the group went on hiatus. A year later, Beyonce launched her solo career with her first studio album, Dangerously In Love. In 2004, Destiny’s Child reunited for their fourth and final studio album, Destiny Fulfilled. After that, Beyonce was in several movies, including The Pink Panther and Austin Powers Goldmember. She released her third studio album in 2008, titled I Am… Sasha Fierce, the same year she became Mrs Carter when she married Jay-Z. The album won six Grammys and featured hit songs such as Halo, If I Were A Boy, and Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). From that point forward, Beyonce became a tsunami of success. She has since performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show and presidential inauguration and even starred in a live-action reboot of Disney’s The Lion King. This is only a tiny snippet of the Queen’s life.
