Chris Martin and the gang have been very vocal on environmental issues, even deciding not to tour following the release of Everyday Life in 2019, because they were concerned about their carbon footprint. So they have gone to great lengths to reduce that. They have planted 9 million trees (so far), and have worked with BMW to produce the first ever rechargeable battery show.
Obviously it is also a celebration of Coldplay’s music, and you can expect to hear songs from throughout the career of this incredible band, from those early days meeting at University College London, right through the Viva la Vida years, and right through the the very latest release.
More than that, though, you can expect a true spectacle. This is a proper show, it’s not just any other gig. It’s separated into four acts, with a narrative and incredible visual effects. We won’t spoil it all for you, but rest assured, Chris Martin, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and guitarist Jonny Buckland have pushed the boat out yet again when it comes to putting on a live performance. It needs to be seen to be believed.
