The NFL is officially returning to the capital in 2026, and the first designated teams have been revealed! Once again, UK fans will get the opportunity to witness three regular-season games on home turf this autumn. 2026 NFL London Games: Who is Playing?
While the exact dates and full matchups won’t be revealed until the full NFL schedule release in the spring, the NFL has officially confirmed the “home” teams travelling to the capital this October:
- Jacksonville Jaguars (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium & Wembley Stadium): London’s adopted team is returning in a massive way. The Jaguars will be playing back-to-back games across the capital, marking the third time they’ve played consecutive weeks in the UK. They will play one game at Tottenham and one under the arch at Wembley.
- Washington Commanders (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium): Making their long-awaited return to the UK for the first time in a decade, the Commanders will host a thrilling gridiron clash in N17.
Beyond London: The 2026 Global Expansion
As you will be aware, the National Football League has been playing International Games for over a decade now, and 2026 represents a historic milestone. The league is expanding its international slate to a record-breaking nine games across four continents!
Alongside London, 2026 will see the first-ever regular-season games in Melbourne (Rams vs. 49ers), Rio de Janeiro (Dallas Cowboys), Paris (New Orleans Saints), and Madrid (Atlanta Falcons). Meanwhile, Munich (Detroit Lions) and Mexico City (San Francisco 49ers) will also be returning as host cities.
When Will the 2026 NFL London Fixtures Be Announced?
Currently, we only know the designated “home” teams for the London games. The full schedule, including the opposing teams, the exact dates in October, and kickoff times, will be officially announced in mid-May 2026 during the NFL’s league-wide schedule release.
How to get NFL London tickets
This won’t come as a surprise, but tickets to the London games are always incredibly popular. Tickets tend to sell out quickly, so you need to be quick off the draw. Ticket details aren’t available yet, but you can register your interest in tickets on the NFL website here, and they will let you know more information about ticket prices and where to buy them in due course. It’s likely that they will go on sale in June/July.
Things can occasionally get slightly more complicated, as some of the NFL teams prefer to sell tickets through their own website (the Jacksonville Jaguars have done this before), so you may need to move quickly depending on the information that the NFL provides.
