What can you say that hasn’t already been said about The Rolling Stones? For more than 60 (sixty) years they have entertained fans – the original rock and roll band that helped create the foundations of rock music, onto which all music since has been built. It is almost impossible to exaggerate their impact on the music industry.
As such, going to a Rolling Stones concert is just one of those things that all fans of music should do at some point. And those that already have will almost definitely want to do it again. This is precisely why whenever Rolling Stones tour dates are released, they are met with phenomenal demand for tickets.

FAQs
You could write a book about the Rolling Stones. In fact many people have, and they are invariably pretty big books. With more than 60 years of history behind them, nobody could know everything there is to know about them, but we want to try and cover the most frequently asked questions about them now – if you would like any more information about The Rolling Stones, or Rolling Stones VIP tickets, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We were last treated to the Rolling Stones live in the UK in 2022, as part of their SIXTY anniversary tour. They played twice at Hyde Park, with a ‘warm up’ gig at Anfield in front of nearly 40,000 people. Call us greedy, but three dates just aren’t enough, so we are hoping for news of more UK tour dates soon…
There are three main members of the Rolling Stones – the legendary frontman Mick Jagger, who, along with guitarist Keith Richards formed the band in 1962. Ronnie Wood, who plays bass and guitar, joined the band in 1975 and is the other ‘permanent’ member of the group.
Drummer Charlie Watts joined the band in 1963, and remained in the group until his death in 2021. Other members include Bill Wyman (1962-1993, and as a guest many times since), Brian Jones (1962 until shortly before his death in 1969), Ian Stewart and Mick Taylor.
The amount of awards that the Rolling Stones have won is probably a little less than you might imagine – but that is largely because they have been going a lot longer than most awards! Their four Grammy Awards (including a Lifetime Achievement) seems a little low, especially when you compare them to, say, U2 who have won 22.
They have won plenty of NME Awards and some VMAs amongst others, and have been inducted in a fair few Hall of Fames. They also won the World’s Greatest Touring Band of All Time in 2005.
But the Rolling Stones have never been about the awards. They have been about playing live music for their millions of fans.
There is so much that is special about the Rolling Stones – they really are a unique music group. Nobody else has remained as popular as they have for as long as they have. To be still touring more than 60 years after they began is just extraordinary, and as the US leg of the Hackney Diamonds tour proved, their appeal is showing no signs of fizzling out.
They are true pioneers of rock n roll music. Their influence can be seen across so many different genres of music. We may take it for granted now, but it needs to be emphasised that they were doing something so new and so different when they started. There are very few artists that can claim to have had the same kind of influence that the Rolling Stones have had on, not just music, but popular culture in general.
Then there are the songs – Paint It Black, Satisfaction, Sympathy, Ruby Tuesday, Honky Tonk Women, for the Devil and Gimme Shelter, to name a few. These are songs that have universal appeal, and still stand up decades after they were released.
Finally, there are the members themselves. Mick Jagger is one of the most iconic performers in the history of music. Together with Keith Richards, they have entertained millions of people over their careers. They are each cultural icons in their own ways, which has helped keep them relevant over all these years.
It seems strange to say this about a performance from people in the eighties, but one of the main things you can expect is energy. The Stones are legendary rockers, arguably the greatest rock and roll bands of all time, and they wouldn’t have achieved that without bringing a dynamism and energy to all of their shows.
We say Rock and Roll, but that is probably selling them short. One of the other huge appeals of the Rolling Stones is how they can straddle numerous musical genres at the same time. Some blues, country RnB – they have experimented with all kinds of genres over the years, from Folk to Ukrainian Electro! Expect a bit of everything when you go to watch the Rolling Stones.
In total, the Rolling Stones have released 72 albums. Broken down, this is 31 studio albums, 29 compilation albums and 13 live albums.
Their first album, the self-titled The Rolling Stones album, was released on the 17th of April 1964.
Are the Rolling Stones worth seeing live?
Absolutely. And we can’t stress that enough.
Whether it’s on your bucket list (and it should be), whether you are a lifelong Stones fan, or whether you are just a fan of music in general, you need to see the Rolling Stones live at some point. Whether you can sing along with their entire back catalogue or not, you are in for a great concert.
You will be able to tell future generations that you saw the Stones live, and that counts for a lot. And here’s something incredible: If anyone in their early 60s watched the Stones when they first started out, which we’re sure they would have at some point, you can watch the same live entertainment as someone who was alive during Queen Victoria’s reign.
Mind. Blown.

Be prepared for the next Rolling Stones Tour
In 2023, when the Rolling Stones released their latest studio album, Hackney Diamonds, the announced that they would be also embarking a a tour the following year – the Hackney Diamonds Tour (when you’ve been in the game as long as they have, you don’t need to come up with interesting names for your tours).
Unfortunately for us in the UK, all of the 2024 dates were in North America – kicking off in Houston in April, moving for a night in Canada in July and then finishing at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri, on the 21st of July. 3 months, 20 shows, $235,000,000 taken at the Box Office. (Nice work if you can get it).
If we know The Stones, and we think we do, they are not going to leave it there. Our bet is that another batch of tour dates are going to be announced soon – and surely this time there will be plenty of UK dates included?
If and when that happens, come straight to us. We will have ticket packages available at venues all over the country, so you won’t have to worry about missing out. You will be able to secure tickets to see this legendary band in person, for a night of unadulterated rock ‘n’ roll.
