Chelsea Hospitality Tickets & Packages FAQs

We answer some of your questions about Chelsea

At Events Hospitality, we offer hospitality, VIP tickets and premium packages for all Chelsea home games at Stamford Bridge. To purchase the package you want, please leave your details on the enquiry form or email [email protected] and we will get back to you ASAP.

At Events Hospitality we only sell our own stock of premium tickets or hospitality packages. On very rare occasions we have to general admission tickets for Chelsea games, when we sell them on behalf of clients. Packages are listed in the event itself, but if you cannot find what you are looking for or have a specific request, please email [email protected] and we will be able to help.

As part of our offering for Chelsea, we have all of the Premiership, Cup and European home game available for sale. There are not many ticketed events outside of the Chelsea games at Stamford Bridge, but if you have any questions please just email [email protected]

Prices will differ for each game, depending on the opponent. We try to offer VIP tickets at the most reasonable price possible, even when demand is very high. Take a look through the event itself or contact us on 0208 053 0278 to enquire.

At Events Hospitality we only offer premium tickets and official hospitality packages. We also only sell tickets or packages that we have in hand, to ensure availability for our clients (many companies out there will sell the tickets and then attempt to procure them afterwards to fulfil the order).

We know how stressful it can be trying to work out which companies are genuine, especially when there are so many out there. As one of the newer ones, we also know how much harder we have to work to prove ourselves. That’s why we offer a 100% money back guarantee if we don’t deliver your tickets. To ensure you’re dealing with a reputable company please call us on 0208 053 0278 to ask any questions, or view more information about us here.

Wherever you are buying your tickets from, make sure you do your research. Take a look at online reviews, ask to speak to previous customers or verify with the venue that the company you are using are official hospitality agents.

Yes, but these are always in high demand. If you are interested in an away game for Chelsea then please email us on [email protected] for options

Bags up to A4 size are permitted (handbags effectively) and all bags are searched on entry. You cannot bring in any bigger bags, or items such as buggies or prams.

Walking is your best bet if you can, as its very accessible from many locations in London. The nearest tube station is Fulham Broadway, where most fans travel to, or the Overground stations of Stamford Bridge, West Brompton and Imperial Wharf are about 15 minutes walk. There are plenty of buses that serve the ground, as you would expect for London.

Equally, as you would expect for London, parking is very limited and driving close to the ground on a matchday is limited by road closures.

Tickets for Chelsea games will be sent via email, around 5 days before the game. On some occasions tickets will be paper tickets, which we will either post to your address or arrange for them to be collected on the day.

Stamford Bridge is one of the older grounds in the Premier League and is more traditional than modern, but still has a lot of good facilities. There are a range of hospitality lounges at the Ground (nearly 15 in total), from your sports bars right through to the VIP packages with Directors Box seats (and of course Private Boxes). What is available depends on the game, so we would suggest calling us on 0208 053 0278 to find the package best suited for you.

This will be explained to you during the purchase, as it depends on the package you purchase. You can also see various Stadium maps at the bottom of the page.

This will depend on the hospitality package you have for Chelsea games. Most lounges are informal, which allow shirts, jeans and trainers. However, some of the top end lounges are more formal and a require certain attire, which we will advise on purchase.

This will be explained to you during the purchase, as it obviously depends on the package. To get an idea of the available locations, you can see various seating maps at the bottom of the page.

Generally speaking no, most events are very relaxed. The hospitality at the O2 also tends to be on the more informal side, so there isn’t many restrictions to this. However, certain events may have a specific dress code which we will make you aware of, but any questions just ask.

All Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult (and have a ticket themselves). Children are allowed in most hospitality facilities, as long as they have the relevant ticket.

No, obviously not.

A Guide to Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge

Introduction

Stamford Bridge is home to Chelsea Football Club. For much of its existence, Stamford Bridge seemed like an enormous waste of land in a particularly prosperous area of London, but since 2003 Chelsea have started to win things. As such, Stamford Bridge has become a globally recognised stadium. It isn’t as big as many people think – with a capacity of 40,341 it is only the ninth biggest in the Premier League. This, coupled with Chelsea’s success on the pitch over the last 20 years, has made tickets for Chelsea matches quite difficult to come by. One solution is to opt for one of the many Stamford Bridge stadium hospitality packages – more on those later. In this article we are going to be covering everything you need to know about Stamford Bridge – looking at the history as well as practical information like how to get to Stamford Bridge and what you can expect there.

A brief history

Stamford Bridge stadium is another Premier League ground that actually predates the club that it hosts. Chelsea FC didn’t exist when it was opened in 1877 – initially used as an athletics track. They then offered it to a current* Premier League club, but not Chelsea. Fulham FC had first refusal, and they rejected the ground as they couldn’t afford it. The owners of Stamford Bridge decided to create a club of their own – Chelsea FC, and so they had a ready-made home. Archibald Leitch, the famous football ground architect, was hired to construct the stadium, which had a capacity of a massive 100,000. It’s thought that this capacity was exceeded in 1945 when Dynamo Moscow toured the UK following World War 2 and played their first match against the London club. They made attempts to renovate Stamford Bridge in the 70s, but the cost of building the East Stand got out of control so the rest of the ground remained untouched – this coincided with Chelsea getting relegated to the second division, and then the third. The club and the Stamford Bridge stadium slipped into decline. During the height of football hooliganism in the 80s, they erected an electric fence to stop home fans getting on the pitch (although it was never turned on). It was seen as an intimidating place to visit for the away support. It was the 90s when everything started to improve, both for Chelsea FC and Stamford Bridge. The stadium was completely rebuilt, removing the running track and creating a 34,000 all-seater stadium, befitting of a Premier League club. Further improvements have been made to the Shed End and the West Stand to increase the capacity further, but for a club of their stature, Chelsea still feel that Stamford Bridge is too small. Being in such a built up area of central London, expanding is a difficult business that Roman Abramovich and now new owner Todd Boehly have wrestled with – both having drawn up plans for a new stadium. The club now owns enough neighbouring land, which could be used for a new stadium, or just to expand Stamford Bridge into – but as yet, no formal plans are in place.

Quick Facts

  • In 1898, Stamford Bridge hosted the illustrious Shinty World Championship in 1898 between Beauly Shinty Club and London Camanach
  • Stamford Bridge was used as the venue for the FA Cup between 1920-1922 before being replaced by Wembley Stadium
  • The first major day-night floodlit cricket match was held at Stamford Bridge, between Essex and West Indies in 1980
  • When Ken Bates famously bought Chelsea FC for £1, Stamford Bridge was not included in the deal

Why go?

Even if you are not a Chelsea fan, there is a lot to attract people to Stamford Bridge. First of all, there are Premier League games – Chelsea have one of the most expensive squads ever assembled and Stamford Bridge has been the venue for some iconic Premier League moments. Kanu’s hat trick. Essien’s wonder goal. Zola’s flick at the near post. Tuchel and Conte turning a handshake into an embarrassing little scrap. It all happens at Stamford Bridge! There’s also the location – right in the heart of London, it’s the perfect stadium for visiting supporters to make a day of it. For those outside of London, it’s a great venue with plenty to do nearby. It’s easy to get to with plenty of Tube Stations and good access from overground train stations, right in the heart of the capital.

What are the facilities like?

For a stadium that is over 100 years old, the facilities inside Stamford Bridge are surprisingly modern – mainly due to the fact that it was completely rebuilt in the 90s. Since their success began in the early 2000s, there has been a lot of work done on the concourses and the facilities in general. It is a decent, modern football ground. There is a Chelsea museum on the site, which includes things like Jose Mourinho’s coat and various cups and medals that the club won – you get access to this if you book onto the stadium tour (which you can upgrade to include lunch). There are also two hotels built on the site of what used to be known as the Chelsea Village complex, along with the Chelsea Megastore.

Are the premium tickets, VIP and Hospitality options?

Chelsea are one of the richest clubs in the Premier League, so it is no surprise that they have exceptional hospitality options. As Stamford Bridge is quite small, this is a great way for them to make money, so they have put a lot of effort into making it high quality. There are plenty of choices. You can opt for the Museum Package which will give you padded seats in the West Stand Upper tier, on the goal line, as well as access to a modern concourse area where you can enjoy complimentary drinks and chef’s table hot food. You will also be treated to a mini stadium tour! A great all-round experience. There are also plenty of VIP lounges to choose from. The UTB Sports Lounge, Frankie’s Sports Bar, The 1905 Club and Under The Bridge all offer something a bit different. For example, the Under The Bridge hospitality package offers a complimentary bar, food and snacks both before and after the match, plus tickets in the Upper West Stand. In Frankie’s Sports Bar you’ll get a three-course meal and seats in the East Stand. Then there are some really high-end experiences – VIP hospitality, with padded seats in the West Stand, a reserved table in a lounge, a three-course meal and complimentary drinks. The Diamond Suite includes a meet and greet with a first team Chelsea player as well as balcony seating in the West Stand, plus champagne and canapes on arrival. It’s exactly what you would imagine from a premium Chelsea experience! If you are interested in experiencing one of these superb Stamford Bridge hospitality packages, or you would like some advice on which one would be best for you, please get in touch on 0208 053 0278 to discuss.

How to get to Stamford Bridge?

As we alluded to earlier, it is pretty easy to get to Stamford Bridge.
By train/tube:
Fulham Broadway (on the Wimbledon bound tube of the District line) is the nearest tube station to the ground – a three-minute walk. Obviously, this gets very crammed with home fans and visiting supporters on match days, so you may want to head to a different station and have a slightly longer walk. Parsons Green and West Brompton station are under a mile away from Stamford Bridge, while Earl’s Court station and West Kensington are just over a mile away. West Brompton also has National Rail and Overground options.
By bus:
The buses 14, 211 and 414 all have stops at Stamford Bridge
By car:
To get to Stamford Bridge from the south, cross the Wandsworth Bridge and turn right, then   onto Fulham Broadway. Fulham Road, which leads to Stamford Bridge, is closed on a match day. From the north, get off the M25 at Junction 14 onto the M4, which becomes the A4. Follow this to Earl’s Court and from there you can turn right onto Fulham Road. (The full address is Stamford Bridge, Fulham Road, London, SW6 1HS for your satnav) You’ll be able to find a car park nearby, but they won’t be cheap!
By taxi:
From Euston Station, a black cab will cost you around £25 and it will take you around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Just be prepared to get out and walk if the traffic is really bad close to the ground.

What is there to do in the area around Stamford Bridge like?

There is plenty to do around Stamford Bridge for home and away fans. There are loads of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants along Fulham Road and King’s Road – both of which are very close to the stadium. It’s a very well-off area of London, so food and drink will be priced accordingly. But there is a huge amount of options and variety, whether you want a proper football boozer with a buoyant atmosphere or a pleasant afternoon in a classy gastro-pub. Away fans will be seated in the Shed End lower tier, and you are probably best off drinking around Earl’s Court before a match. Most pubs close to the ground will require you to present a home match ticket for entry. As Stamford Bridge is in central London, you have so much choice for pre-match drinks. Even for a night game, you can have a drink a few stops down the line and easily make the kickoff on time. Closer to the ground, in the Chelsea Village complex, you’ll find more bars and coffee shops, as well as the club’s museum.

How can I get tickets for Chelsea games?

Well, it’s not easy. The combination of a successful team and a small stadium means that tickets for Chelsea matches are very difficult to come by. For home fans’ general admission tickets, you will need to be a Chelsea club member, but even then tickets sell out very quickly, so you will need to be lucky. You can access this via the club’s official website. Try some of the cup games – they tend to be less popular than league games, so a great chance for Chelsea fans to see their team. On our website, you can purchase Premium Hospitality tickets and packages. We have a range available and is probably the best way to guarantee yourself a ticket to a Chelsea match.

Best event at Stamford Bridge?

Everyone loves a derby, right? And Stamford Bridge will play host to a few London derbies throughout a season. While Brentford and Fulham are the most local teams to Chelsea, it’s the games against Arsenal and Spurs that will generate the most interest.

In fact, given the events of the last few fixtures between the two clubs, Chelsea vs Spurs will be hotly anticipated by everyone!

Most niche event?

Chelsea are offering a great package this Christmas – a Christmas party during which you can play on the pitch at Stamford Bridge! You get match officials plus control of the PA systems and LED screens. All followed by a complimentary bar and food.

How much do Chelsea tickets cost?

Prices for general admission tickets to Chelsea matches start at around £45 for home fans (cup games may be cheaper), and can go up as high as £85. If you were interested in hospitality tickets at Stamford Bridge, they start at around £200 per person and can go up to the high hundreds for the top experiences.

Type of events

Obviously football is the main event that is held at Stamford Bridge, but they often hold small music gigs at the Under The Bridge venue.

Top Tip for visiting Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge is much easier to get to than most London grounds, so our top tip for visiting supporters is to make a day of it. Take advantage of the fact that you are in London, safe in the knowledge that you have a relatively easy journey to get to the match. Home fans and away supporters have so much choice in one of the most exciting cities on earth – make the most of it.

If you have any questions or would like to understand the best options for tickets at the O2, please contact us and we would be happy to help.

What are the Different Levels of Hospitality you can get at Stamford Bridge?

To describe Chelsea as an enigmatic football club wouldn’t even be scratching the surface. Show me a man that claims to understand Chelsea Football Club and I will show you a liar. One of the big draws to the Bridge is the huge range of hospitality options that they have available.
