The nearest train station to Anfield is Liverpool Lime Street, about 2 miles away, which is also the main train station for the City. On a matchday the 917 goes from the station to Anfield on a regular basis. There are also several buses from the city centre (Queen Square Bus Station) directly to the ground (68, 168, 14 and 19).
There is limited official parking around the ground for those who are driving, although plenty of unofficial car parks are available a little further out.

The club have a dedicated team based at the station to help direct you or show you to buses that will take you directly to the ground – just be warned that the closer you get to kick-off time, the busier these get.
A taxi from the city centre to Anfield shouldn’t cost you more than £10 – again depending on the time and how busy it is.
As with many stadiums of this vintage, it is located in a built-up residential area, which can make travelling by car quite difficult, especially with regards to parking – be sure to secure a parking space somewhere before you set off as many of the areas have strict residential parking schemes.
