FAQs

There is usually a short turnaround between the Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball tickets going on sale and the event itself, so we want you to be prepared – any questions that you may have will be answered below. If there is anything that we’ve missed, feel free to get in touch and we will do everything we can to help you.

Capital’s Christmas Ball will take place over two nights – usually over a weekend in early December. As soon as the dates are released, we will let you know. One thing we do know, though, is that it will be hosted at the O2 in London.

As we mentioned above, there is usually a short turnaround between tickets going on sale and the show itself – in 2023 they went on general sale on the 17th November (with some Capital listeners being given exclusive pre-sale access to tickets on the 16th) – see what we mean about a short turnaround!. Our official hospitality packages will be available as soon as the general sale tickets are. (A quick note – if you get offered the chance to purchase resale tickets, make sure they are from the O2 directly, or the AXS official resale website – any other resale tickets may not be valid. It’s best to stick to official sellers, like us.)

Since the first Jingle Bell Ball in 2008, some huge names have performed at the concert. Names like Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Shakira, Dizzee Rascal, Michael Bublé, Katy Perry, Take That, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa – you get the idea. Anyone who is anyone has played the Jingle Bell Ball at some point.

The Jingle Bell Ball is hosted by the Capital Breakfast hosts – Roman Kemp, Chris Stark and Sian Welby.

Fans that attend Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball are always in for a treat. Not only will you see some of the hottest names in music, but there is almost always a surprise guest or two making an appearance. It’s such a lovely atmosphere, all set in a wonderfully festive theme – it’s a night of pure joy.

Don’t fear – first of all, it will be streamed live on Global Player. Secondly, you won’t need to wait a full 12 months before another event like this – Capital also hosts a Summertime Ball. This is usually held in June at Wembley Stadium – and as soon as tickets become available for that, we will have some incredible hospitality packages for you.

So is the Jingle Bell Ball worth it?

If you like great music, incredible atmosphere and getting into the festive spirit, then yes. It’s not called the UK’s biggest Christmas party for nothing! We can’t stress enough what a lovely atmosphere it is there – everyone is in a Christmassy mood, and the performers are genuinely global superstars. What more could you want from a night out?!

How to get Jingle Bell Ball tickets

The Capital Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard

The lineup for the UK’s biggest Christmas party has not yet been announced, but there’s one thing we can be sure of – it’s going to feature some amazing artists. Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp, Chris Stark and Sian Welby will reveal the line up live on their show closer to the time, and they will have some of the world’s biggest stars lined up for this year’s show at the O2 in London.

To give you a flavour – the lineup for 2023 included Busted, Alicia Keys, Tate McRae, Becky Hill, Nathan Dawe, Jax Jones, Tom Grennan and ArrDee – and that was just for the first night! The following night, saw a completely different line up as Take That, S Club, Rudimental, RAYE, Rita Ora and Zara Larsson took the stage. Who will be there for this year’s show? Only time (and the Capital Breakfast Show hosts) will tell.

There will be 16,000 lucky fans in the O2 for each night – a much smaller, cosier, affair than the Capital Summertime Ball at Wembley in June each year. This means that tickets will be at a premium, so you will need to act fast to secure your seat at this huge festive show. Fortunately, we will sell tickets as soon as they are available on general sale on Global Player (the Capital App).
