We want you to be fully prepared for the Capital Summertime Ball, so we have created this list of frequently asked questions to give you all the answers you’ll need. If we have missed out anything that you would like to know, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will be able to help you out.
Dates for the next Capital Summertime Ball have not yet been announced, but we know that it will be in June, and that it will be hosted, again, at Wembley Stadium.
While we don’t know the exact date that general admission tickets will be available, they usually go on sale around two months before the event, in April. We will make our VIP tickets available at the same time.
Who hasn’t?!? A brief list of some of the incredible performers (on top of the artists we’ve already named) includes: Enrique Iglesias, Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds Of Summer, The Wanted, Usher, Little Mix, Taylor Swift, David Guetta, One Direction, Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J, Coldplay, Katie Perry, Rhianna and Justin Timberlake. It doesn’t get a reputation as the UK’s biggest summer party for nothing!
As yet, we don’t know the line up for the next Ball, but given the list of names that have performed at the event in the past, you can be pretty confident that some of the hottest stars in the world will be there next time.
The hosts can change every year for the Summertime Ball. In 2023 it was Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and Chris Stark on duty. In the past they have had guest hosts – Justin Timberlake did it one year, and then performed at the same concert!
The first Capital Summertime Ball was in 2009, and it was first hosted at the Emirates Stadium, before moving to Wembley the year after. The first headline acts were Kelly Clarkson, Akon and Leona Lewis.
Other than the incredible acts and amazing atmosphere, fans should also expect the unexpected. Who knows who will show up at the next one – there is a long history of surprise acts and exciting cameos. On a warm’s summer evening, it’s a wonderful experience to take in the exhilarating performances as the crowd goes wild! You’ll dance all night at the ultimate summer party.

Be prepared for the next Capital Summertime Ball
The Summertime Ball 2023 was an absolute smash. The line up was already stacked with amazing artists with Calvin Harris, The Jonas Brothers, Anne Marie and Niall Horan to name a few – and then Kylie Minogue turned up unannounced! It blew the roof of Wembley Stadium, with 80,000 fans losing their minds. This was after Calvin Harris had brought our Ellie Goulding to perform Miracle with him. What a night!
It’s typical of the Capital Summertime Ball to have a surprise or two up its sleeve – Cheryl, Nathan Sykes, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber and Will.i.am have all turned up to perform with other artists over the years, creating some iconic Wembley Stadium moments.
