We answer some of your questions on The Open

The 151st Open will be taking place at Royal Liverpool, in Hoylake on The Wirral. It is the first time it has been played there since 2014, when Rory McIlroy lifted the Claret Jug. It has hosted The Open on 12 occasions.

At this time, we only offer hospitality packages for The Open. This does not include travel or accommodation, as we feel the best way to enjoy the tournament is for you to do so on your own schedule. However, if you do need help or recommendations for travel, please contact us to ask.

At Events Hospitality, we have hospitality packages options available for all of the dates at The Open. As availability can change quickly, it is best to call us on 0208 053 0278 to book your place. That way we can also help answer any questions you have.

You get great value for money with golf hospitality, as its an all day event, so you will see plenty of action. As an all day event, your tickets get you plenty of action! Gates open from 6 or 7am every day, with players teeing off not long after. You will have access to your hospitality suite from entering the grounds.

We have an allocation of tickets and hospitality for each day at The Open but these are in very high demand. Royal Liverpool is a popular venue and location, so if you do want to attend we recommend booking as early as possible.

At Events Hospitality we only offer premium tickets and official hospitality packages. We also only sell tickets or packages that we have in hand, to ensure availability for our clients (many companies out there will sell the tickets and then attempt to procure them afterwards to fulfil the order).

We know how stressful it can be trying to work out which companies are genuine, especially when there are so many out there. As one of the newer ones, we also know how much harder we have to work to prove ourselves. That’s why we offer a 100% money back guarantee if we don’t deliver your tickets. To ensure you’re dealing with a reputable company please call us on 0208 053 0278 to ask any questions, or view more information about us here.

Wherever you are buying your tickets from, make sure you do your research. Take a look at online reviews, ask to speak to previous customers or verify with the venue that the company you are using are official hospitality agents.

Gates open at 6am on the first and second days, with players teeing off from around 6:35am. Last tee offs will be around 4:15pm. On the 3rd and 4th days, gates will open from 7am. Players will tee-off around 9am for the 3rd round and around 8am on the final day.

Cameras are only permitted on site during Practice Days. Mobile phones (and their cameras) are permitted, but the use of them is heavily restricted. Please make sure you consult the Ryder Cup Mobile Device Policy before taking it to the course.

The 2023 Ryder Cup is being held at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, in Hoylake. The nearest station to the course is Hoylake, which is served by Liverpool Lime Street, the main station in Liverpool. There will be regular trains to the station and plenty of shuttles/taxis from there, although it is only a 15 minute walk. Due to the location, many people will drive to the course and parking will be offered around the area.

The course is around 1 hour from Liverpool & Manchester International Airports if required.

As you would expect for such a prestigious venue that has held the tournament so much, they are excellent. The course has a rich history and beautiful views over The Wirral Coastline. There are plenty of food and drink outlets around the course for the tournament and they are well drilled in organising the event. Most of the hospitality areas are pop-up facilities but are of the highest order and offer a great experience for the day.

There is no specific dress code for the event or hospitality area. Spectators are advised to dress for the weather. Golf shoes with spikes are not allowed.

Unlike many other venues, there are locations to smoke at The Open, in the outside areas. You cannot smoke in any inside or temporary structures.

As always, the worlds best golfers will be competing for the only golfing Major held on UK shores. With the inception of the LIV Golf Tour, it will be interesting to see if this effects any players eligibility to play in the tournament.

General admission tickets for The Open are sold directly through the DP World Tour and are via a ballot system. More information on this can be seen here: https://www.theopen.com/ticket-ballot?CountryCode=GB You cannot just buy tickets for The Open, this is the only way to get them, or to purchase hospitality.

At Events Hospitality, we only sell hospitality packages and VIP experiences for the 2023 Open. We have official hospitality packages for The Open, but availability can differ for each day.

Yes, your hospitality package allows you to take the day in as you please. You will have a dedicated table/location in your hospitality suite for most packages, although the more cost-effective packages are free seating. You can come and go from your suite as you please. Some packages include dedicated seats on the 1st Tee and 18th hole, while others allow you to view the action from any spectator area on the course.

This depends on each day, with prices listed on the packages on our website. If you can’t find these or need more information, please just email us on [email protected] Please remember we only have hospitality packages for this event.

Yes, all tickets give you full access for the entirety of the day, from the start to the end of play. You also get access to your hospitality suite for the same period. Spectators are allowed to leave the course and come back, as long as they have a valid ticket and wristband to do so.

Small bags are accepted, subject to checks. You can also bring your own food, but not alcohol. They do not allow folding chairs on course.

These will be sent to you around 14 days before the tournament, in plenty of time for the tournament.

For each hospitality package you have a dedicated table or area in a specific hospitality lounge. This is your base for the day and for you to come and go from as you please. Some hospitality lounges have a viewing balcony and some packages offer a specific seat on the 1st tee and 18th green. For all packages you can watch the action from any free spectator area that you wish.

Please double check this with us before you purchase, as there can be some restrictions for juniors.
